Who we are
We are an Austrian family-owned business. Founded and led by Franz, Martin, and Andreas Blochberger, our family has grown by quite a few members over the past few decades. How we want to change the world: We plan, develop, and operate wind farms, solar power plants, and biogas facilities. All our projects incorporate not only cutting-edge technology but also a commitment to carrying them out with respect for nature and the interests of people. Energy sources such as oil are still often a cause of war in our world. Renewable energy and independence from fossil fuels therefore make you not only a climate advocate but, above all, a peacemaker.
Where we work
We started in Austria and the Czech Republic, where we soon developed our first wind farms. We then expanded into Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine and Slovakia.
Since 2010, we have focused exclusively on our domestic market — Austria.
What makes us special
Our heart and our energy. Despite all our growth, we’ve never lost our love and passion – from the smallest project to the largest contract. And we owe that above all to our team, who share our passion at every level.
What's important to us
We’re constantly dedicated to the projects close to our hearts, such as our fruit gardens and our edible terrace in Vienna, among others.
What else we do. We are curious, motivated, and eager to pursue anything that fills our hearts with joy. That includes, for example, good food. Our co-founding of “Swing Kitchen” was the final inspiration we needed to start cooking ourselves, whether it’s creating innovative ice cream flavors at “Eis-Greissler” or working at a vegan burger joint.
